End of Upward Bound

This summer was the first I ever blog and some of my thought have still not changed. There are a few things that I like about it. The things I like about blogging is that you can make it personal, you can share your thought on thing you want and it free. The things I don't like blogging are that even if you delete it can still be somewhere, I don't believe that it's safe. I never really thought it was fun and personal I think it's a waste of time.
After Upward Bound I will go to the trip to Boston with them. Then after Boston, I will start to look for a job. If I get a job , I will start to save my money for I can buy a car. Also I will start to apply for colleges and scholarships. Some of the colleges I will apply to are Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Grand Valley State University and Alma College.I still have not made up my mind about which one I really want to go to. I will also have to sign up for the ACT again and take it. I will have to spend some of my time to study for it because I have to way better.

Second to last post!

Almond Joy is my favorite candy. I like the mixer of coconut and chocolate. It had one almond in it but it ok. This week has been go slow. I want it to go by faster so it can be the weekend. This weekend is going to be fun. Were going to Michigan adventure.

This weekend was ok. Spain won the World Cup. They in the second overtime by one goal. I won a $20 and a Spain uniform from my family.

This week as been so hot. It's been in the 80's and hitting 90's all week. the hot makes it a lot harder to sleep. I don't like the hot at all. I like the cold better. In the cold you can have a lot of fun like snowball fight, sledding and snowboarding/skiing. This weekend the last two games of the world cup will be played. Uruguay vs Germany for third place on Saturday. I think Germany will win. Then on Sunday Spain vs Netherlands for first and second. I think Spain will win. If Spain wins, I will get a Spain uniform from my family from the bet we made. We all had to chose a team and who ever team won got a uniform. So hopefully they will win.

Today is so hot and I am very tired. Spain plays Germany today at 2:30. I hope Spain can beat Germany and advance to the final to faces Netherlands. The UFC 116 did not go the way I thought it would go. Brock ended up winning by a triangle hold. But the UFC 117 it will be Anderson Silva vs Chael Sonnen. I think everyone will say that Silva will win because no one can really challenge him in his weight class. He is so much better then a lot of fighters.

This weekend there will be UFC 116. It will be Brock Lesnar vs. Shane Carwin. There both heavy weights and the winner will be champ. Brock Lesnar has only lost one fight and that was his first fight. The rest of them he has mostly won by knock out. Brock is a very big guy but he is fast for his size. He can hit very good but he does not have a lot of defense ground game. Now Shane Carwin is a beast. He has won all his fights by knockout expect for a win from submission. Shane is very good at ground game and stand up game. I don't think the fight will make out the first round and that Shane Carwin will win by knock out.

Today is going to be a slow day. Everyone looks tired but I think we will be no tired tomorrow because we will have to study for quiz's in a couple classes. I wish it were Friday so I could go home and go to sleep in my bed. These bed here suck. There small and hard. This Friday we are going to Western. I don't think anybody wants to go there but we have to. Then the next world cup game in next week. Spain beat Portugal. They will make to to the next round and go against Paraguay. Hopefully they will win and make to the next round. There is also a UFC fight this weekend.

Even though I took an hour nap yesterday during free time, I still feel tired. I felt good after the nap. Then we played dodge play with all the guys in upward bound. The TC's said that we were being good, so they had an activity for us. It was the senior's and a couple underclassmen vs. the TC's and the underclassmen. We won the first game and the second game then lost the next two. So we tied and then we went back to the dorms. The TC's bought us senior's pizza from Jet's Pizza , for being good leaders. Today Spain plays Portugal and I hope that Spain will win and make it to the next round.

Summon

I could use summon in the future for writing paper. It would help me because I can narrow the search and make it easier to find information on my topic. Plus all the information is all from scholars, who know what their talking about. I could use summon to look up stuff about history. I would look up history because it would help me find thing of interest to me. I do like using summon because it seems safer then Google or yahoo. With summon you get the result you want and need not something stupid that some random person wrote and it doesn't even make sense.

So right now if you looked outside it looks like its night time. And its staring to rain. I did not get enough sleep last night. I was writing my personal essay. I wish I would of found my umbrella but I could not find in the mess we have in the dorm. I room was never this messes before. We just gave up cleaning. On Friday everyone will know who will make to the second round of the World Cup.

I'm so tired today, maybe I should go to bed earlier. But I had to read because I did not read early. I did not read early because I like to read at night. When I was read it was thundering outside. The tornado siren went off and it was on for like 30 minutes. I like thunderstorms, I don't see how people are afraid of them. There is big chance that you won't get hit with lighting. One of the stories I read was the Chaser.

Cars

One of my favorite car is the 1965 Ford Mustang. It was the second Mustang ever to come out. The first was in 1964 and from there on there have been changes in the car. The other car that I really like is the 1965 Mustang Shelby Gt 500. I really don't like the Shelby's, I like the old own more. I want to get one but there hard to get and cost a lot of money for one. Some of the newer cars that I like are BMW, Jeeps and Fords.

So yesterday Spain played Switzerland and they lost 1-0. They can still make it but they just have to work a lot more harder. So yesterday in our Spanish class we were told that me need to know 15 words and know there what they mean for our quiz today. Today we have like 3 or 4 quiz's. It was a lot of work to study but I did not study because if i study a night before a quiz or test, I forget everything. So I just study before the quiz because i do better that way. Today I saw the result for UFC best fighters. In the pound for pound fighter i do not agree with. I think other fighter should be on there.

Today me and my roommate work up late. We got up and changed. I was the first to leave. I went to go check us in the breakfast room. We have to check to show the tutor consular that we are awake and since were senior, we don't have to go to breakfast but we still got to check in by 7:45. I made it a couple minutes late and I went to go check in. No one was there, so I just stood there until one of the TC seen me. He asked for my number. I told him and explained why I was late. He said OK and I also checked in my roommate. In other news Spain plays today against Switzerland. Also Chile is playing Honduras and there winning.

Free writes

So since the World Cup has started, there have been different games. All the games are early in the day, so we can't see them because were on class. The only games we will be able to see are the ones on the weekend, since we are home. Most of all the games played have ended on a tie. There has been only a couple teams that have won. If a team ties they get only 1 point and if they win they get 3 points. Who ever gets the most points make it past the first round. They move on to the second round. The most important game game that we would see if the final game and I hope that the team I'm going for will at least make it to the final and win. That team is Spain.

I have never blogged before. I have thought it was inserting and was just a waste of time. But now it a shot and see how I like it.
